"Pluvium" umbrella stand in orange ABS plastic, designed by Giancarlo Piretti and produced by Anonima Castelli, c. 1972. The sculptural form, reminiscent of a cascading staircase, deploys to accommodate six umbrellas; the points rest in drainage holes. Pivots closed into a column. Striking and rare in orange. Measurements are as a column.
