Custom design by Studio Variously, ALEI throw / bed spread / blanket is handwoven by master weavers in Nepal and dyed entirely with earth-friendly dyes & soft merino yarn that is hand spun. A sustainable design brand based out of Michigan, Studio Variously exclusively collaborates with artisan communities to restore and revive ancient techniques by exploring classic designs in textile based products. The design is made up of subtle textured stripes that create a soft, neutral gradient effect. Edges of each stripe pattern on the throw is beautifully hand knotted on one side, and the edges on reverse side is kept clean, making this throw / blanket reversible to arrange and use. Our textiles are incredibly soft to touch and wear well over time. Requiring attention to detail and finishing, this piece luxuriously combines heritage value and high quality craftsmanship. For this textile , we are using only the highest quality of soft natural hand-spun merino yarn, which is later hand-dyed with eco-friendly dyes, free of toxic chemicals, as stated above. Our dyes are specifically engineered to promote the lifespan of each throw. Completely handmade from start to finish, each piece is unique. Classic in design, this timeless throw / bed spread / blanket will complement interior spaces and also support artisan communities ethically. Size: 79" x 39" (200 cm x 100 cm) ( can also cover a queen / full bed along with any size couch ) Material: Merino & Cotton Colors: Black base with stripes in shades of black, grey and white. Origin: Ethically handwoven by master weavers in Nepal. Wash Care: Delicately dry clean only. Packaging: Each textile comes in a square cotton canvas pouch, which allows the textile to breath, and this can be re-used for storage.
