Large, luxurious feather-down filled antique Baroque style metallic thread burgundy velvet pillow. Scrolled, floral, foliate elemets of fine metallic thread on a rich, soft burgundy woven velvet. Beautiful sheen to the metallics which are surprisingly soft to the touch. The velvet, unusual, textured- please see detailed photos. The overall feel of this pillow is one of great luxury- the large scale, fine textures and flowing design are sublime. The front fabric is 19th Century European, the back is a later cream satin. 25 inches in length 19 inched high 9 inches deep Very good condition Additional lengths of this antique fabric are available should you wish to have complementary pillows made to order.
