About the Item

A custom-made contemporary luxury cushion (pillow) constructed from 100% pure Irish linen made from the flax plant, the Aristocrat of textiles, and certified by the Irish Linen Guild. The vintage cloth is from an unused roll, is heavy weight, of the highest quality and has a simply divine soft texture. With a fashionable return for natural fibres linen is also desirable for it’s eco-friendly qualities making it even more attractive. The traditional oatmeal color is a combination of the unbleached raw colour of the natural flax plant on the weft intertwined with pristine white on the warp, resulting in a beautiful dappled effect. Fabric: We have a small amount of this fabric available so please request more information by sending us a message and we will let you know what other designs, measurements and quantity of this one is possible. This design can also be ordered in brand new Irish linen also in our signature neutral colour palate of natural oatmeal and white as an alternative to the vintage cloth. Finish: Filled with a new plush duck feather insert and a concealed zip. Artisan made in Ireland. Design: By designer-maker Katie Larmour for KL Design Ireland Studio. This design is part of a collection created in 2015 that won KL Design Ireland a place with the British European Design Group showcasing alongside them at New York Design Week 2016. Style: Inspired by haute couture ballgowns, from 1950s lavish bow embellishments through to modern day creations by Valentino, Dior and Giambattista Valli whether it’s oversized sweeping fabric or tiny intricate details. Definitely a showpiece, would be fabulous as the centrepiece for bed dressing, traditional interior, country style or even nursery decor.
