Custom design by Studio Variously, TREACLE is a organic cotton throw / blanket is handwoven by master weavers in Nepal. A sustainable design brand based out of Michigan, Studio Variously exclusively collaborates with artisan communities to restore and revive ancient techniques by exploring custom modern designs in textile based products. This textile's design is made up of handwoven checks pattern with beautiful handwoven motif border in shades of deep brown and soft white ( undyed organic cotton yarn ) . The organic cotton used is cultivated using rain water harvesting process which mean it is 100% rain fed crop, making it truly sustainable in nature. This cotton is indigenous in nature which adds a subtle raw quality in its hand feel. Each panel has a unique subtle textured hand feel. All the panels are beautifully handwoven together our textiles are incredibly soft to touch and wear well over time. The edges have clean fringes giving it a modern classic look. Requiring attention to detail and finishing, Treacle throw / bedspread / blanket luxuriously combines heritage value and high quality craftsmanship. For Treacle we are using only the highest quality of soft natural organic cotton yarn , which is later hand-dyed with certified earth-friendly Swiss dyes, free of toxic chemicals. Our dyes are specifically engineered to promote the lifespan of each throw. As this luxurious textile is completely handmade from start to finish, each piece is unique. Classic and modern in design, this timeless throw / blanket will enhance interior spaces and also support artisan communities ethically. Size: 79" x 39" (200 cm x 100 cm) ( can also be used as bedspread for queen or full sized bed & any size of couch ) Material: 100 % rain fed organic cotton from India. Colors: Shades of deep brown and soft white ( undyed organic cotton ) Origin: Ethically handwoven by master weavers in Nepal. Wash care: Gently hand wash with cold water and hang dry or delicately dry clean only. Packaging: Each throw comes in a square cotton canvas pouch, which allows the textile to breath, and this can be re-used for storage. All our packaging pouches are also made by our artisans to keep our production inclusive.
