Vintage Midcentury West African Indigo Multicolor Striped Cotton Blanket Textile
About the Item
This textile is handwoven from heavy weight cotton from the Yoruba of Nigeria. The striped pattern shows indigo, magenta, green, and white colors representative of the Aso Oke textiles. This piece is in excellent condition, retaining it's original hand-sewn seams. Hand-spun in a sturdy cotton. Luminous color! Perfect for a wall hanging or textile for styling. Could also be repurposed for upholstery or pillow covers.
