Antique French Steam Trunk in All Original Condition with Brass Wood and Leather
About the Item
A beautiful, classic and large example of turn-of-the-century travel luggage, this antique French steam trunk features all of the quintessential details, down to its lovely aged travel sticker remnants and initials. The exterior is of a rich brown faux leather, with raised pinline inked real leather edging. Wooden straps surround the piece and are finished at each edge in brass. Thick leather handles and the initials RH complete the look perfectly. The interior is in remarkably clean, original, excellent condition. All lined with a floral fabric, the inside features five drawers with leather handles and a set of fantastic wooden hangers on a built in rack. The flat top on this piece makes it ideal for use as a coffee or side table.
