Set Antique French Silver Plated Tureens Serving Set Georgian Style 19
Located in BAAMBRUGGE, NL
Beautiful antique French silver plated tureen serving set Georgian Style ca 1920s France. This beautiful set of serving dishes, sauceboats and tureens give your set table in combination with your beautiful China dinnerware an extra festive look! I can't find a mark label anywhere. It is of quite heavy quality and is almost comparable to brands such as example Wiskemann or Christofle. In good condition. 1 handle of the large center piece tureen is loose, see the last photo. (this can optionally be soldered. (ask for the possibility) The beautiful acorn shaped buds are not completely straight. This is due to minimal dents at the lid knob. (very very minimal, not disturbing at all) Please note that this has ever been used. So there are some light scratches from use and spots on the silverware (Ask for more close up pictures if interested) Otherwise just gorgeous! Centerpiece Tureen with Lid two covered Vegetable serving Tureens with handles and Lid 1 Oval serving plate 2 Sauceboats We ship world wide with Fedex. Please also include your phone number...

1780 Floral Spring Bouquet, Louis Tessier, Folio, Tulip, Poeny, Hand Coloured
Located in Norwich, GB
Floral Bouquet engraved after Louis Tessier for "Livre de Corbeilles et Vases de Fleurs" Engraved by Jean-Jacques Avril Spring Bouquet with Ranunculus and Tulip. Measures: 36.4 x 27.7 cm "Avril l'aine, Sculp", in text, lower right; "L. Tessier, del" lower right. The six plates for "Livre de Corbeilles et Vases de Fleurs" (A Book of Baskets and Vases of Flowers) were engraved by J.J. Avril after paintings by Louis Tessier. The plates were hand colored and the coloring varies from impression to impression. This impression is a beautiful example of Tessier's eye for design, with his elegant use of space and the vivid color combinations by Avril. Despite the formality of the still life, the fun, haphazard arrangement of these fantastic flowers makes for a charming yet highly stylized image. Jean Jaacques Avril (the elder) was born in Paris in 1744 and studied architecture but became a student of engraver Jan Georges...

Fine Paris Porcelain Coffee Can Vue De Notredame De Paris, French Ca 1795
By Paris Studio
Located in Lincoln, Lincolnshire
This is a very beautiful porcelain coffee can with a hand painted scene of Notre-Dame Cathedral, made by Paris, France, dating to the late 18th century, circa 1795. The coffee can is broadly cylindrical tapering slightly to the base, with a ring handle having an inner spur. This is a very finely hand painted coffee can with a view of Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris, all in many different coloured enamels. The view even shows various figures in the foreground, all set in a rectangular thick gilded border, against a lovely lemon yellow ground. with further hand painted gold gilded rims and outer handle. Overall a very distinctive, beautifully decorated coffee can. NOTES Notre-Dame de Paris, often simply referred to as Notre-Dame, is a medieval Catholic cathedral and is the most famous of the Gothic cathedrals from the middle ages, situated on the Île de la Cité, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris. The Roman Catholic cathedral, dedicated to the Virgin Mary, is considered one of the finest examples of French Gothic architecture. Notre-Dame was built on the ruins of two earlier churches, which were themselves predated by a Gallo-Roman temple dedicated to Jupiter. The cathedral was initiated by Maurice de Sully, bishop of Paris, who about 1160 conceived the idea of converting into a single building, on a larger scale, the ruins of the two earlier basilicas. The foundation stone was laid by Pope Alexander III in 1163, and the high altar...
