Antique Red Turkmen Ersari Carpet

About the Item

The lightly abrashed madder brick field on this carpet displays four columns of eight characteristic quartered octagonal tribal guls with green andburnt buff sections. The minor intermediate guls fade into the background. The green ground minors show undulating bud meanders white the main brick band has a simple lozenge chain pattern.
