Antique Beshir Turkmen Rug

About the Item

Antique Beshir Turkmen rug. A highly collectible antique rug, attributed to the Ersari Turkmen tribes in Central Asia, in a more ornate style often referred to as "Beshir." This rug is a very good example in a rare small size. The design of the rug is well-known but is very well articulated here and the colors are just great. The rug survived in a very good state of preservation, with no significant repairs to speak of.
