Nim Suzani from Uzbekistan, Central Asia, Mid-20th Century

It has fine silk embroidery on a cotton background.    

A neat example of its group, this Suzani is in very good condition.

This small Suzani displays all the features of a Lakai embroidery done on a red color trade cloth, 1900s.  

It is pure silk lined with a Russian roller printed Cotton Textile of the period. Measures: 194 x 238 cm / 6'4'' x 7'9''.

This Suzani Embroidery depicts three columns of round embroidered medallions each with a different color scheme.
