With Jazz Age vibes and Art Deco style, this hand knotted wool antique Chinese Peking rug features an elegant central floral medallion dotted with four pairs of butterflies fluttering across the abrashed dark navy blue field. The four flowers intertwined in the motifs are lotuses, peonies, chrysanthemums and plum blossoms, which when appearing together represent the Four Seasons. Each flower carries significant meaning in Chinese culture.
