Hand knotted in lush wool and lustrous silk circa 1980, this vintage Tabriz style rug represents a graceful addition to the Modern Classics collection by Rug & Kilim, inspired by our team’s experience in rare antique and vintage classic patterns of the most celebrated families inspiring designs akin to this 8x10. The play of the silk’s natural sheen with this rich, classic pallet of beige brown hues brings out the definition and finesse of the graceful curvilinear floral pattern, complementing the soothing sense of movement and depth in the field and border with a tasteful juxtaposition of reserved and elegant rug appeal—a brilliant Persian rug inspiration achieved by our most reputed long-standing partner loom in India.
