Hand-knotted from premium wool and recycled sari silk, this versatile transitional 8x10 ft piece makes an exceptional living room rug, dining room rug, or bedroom rug. The design features an allover pattern of nomadic motifs inspired by traditional Persian and Indian artistry. To achieve its distinctive vintage look, the rug is crafted with an extra low pile (approximately 1/3 inch) and utilizes multiple cotton wefts between the rows of hand-made knots. This specialized weaving technique creates a unique, slightly coarse texture that emphasizes its authentic tribal style and gives it the character of a fine antique piece. Woven with sustainability in mind, the pile consists of 80% high-quality wool blended with 20% vibrant sari silk, upcycled from traditional Indian women's dresses. This combination provides a luxurious feel underfoot with subtle, lustrous highlights. Its versatile color palette and texture ensure it goes great with modern, traditional, Southwestern, European, Art Deco, or Hollywood Regency interior design.
