An 8 x 10 rug in green and multicolor geometric patterns, from Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Modern Collection. In collaboration with modern artist Jenn Ski, hand knotted in a unique blend of wool and natural silk.
Further on the design: This particular mid-century modern rug exemplifies our approach to graph, color, and refined texture in this versatile large scale. The reimagining of chic atomic age style, movement, and joyful colors in this quality creates a distinctive, bold rug. All complemented by the silk’s natural, balanced sheen lending a play of light and invitation to warm, smart hues. Well suited in large size and sensibility to numerous projects, including maximalist interiors.
Custom capable: Designs in this collection feature stock in alternate sizes, colors, available upon request. Further custom rugs in this and other designs available within 3-4 months upon deposit. Hand knotted in one of our most reputed long-standing partner looms in India.
About the artist: A graduate of the University of Massachusetts representing the team at Lilla Rogers Studio, modern artist Jenn Ski has been designing and producing an impressive collection of mid-century modern style designs that drew Josh to our exciting partnership. Sharing our passion for the particular post-modern style, Jenn Ski’s collaboration with Rug & Kilim represents the first representation of her work in our medium, with some of her current works favoring the mobile and cocktail style patterns emerging in the 1950s—connoting a remarkable student of the era who proudly references her home being built by a student of Frank Lloyd Wright.
