Antique Persian rug handwoven from the finest sheep’s wool and colored with all-natural vegetable dyes that are safe for humans and pets. It’s a traditional Shahsavan design highlighted by geometric tribal patterns on the centerfield. It’s a beautiful piece for decorating contemporary and rustic spaces. It has a dimension of 4’9” x 6’3” which is ideal for large hallways, bedrooms, living areas, and dining rooms. Shahsavan is a nomadic tribe local to the northeastern part of Iran. Members were a mix of Persians, Turkish, and Armenian people who all influenced the weaving style of the rugs they produced. Shahsavan rugs almost always feature geometric details like medallions.
