This contemporary and abstract 6' x 9' area rug created from the finest pure wool for the Orley Shabahang signature collection drew its inspiration from the view of looking out upon forests of Aspen trees in Colorado. Every aspect of the design of this carpet is customizable for custom orders, including color and scale, in whatever size your home or project requires.
As with all Orley Shabahang carpets, this piece is one of a kind, created entirely by hand by artisans utilizing only organic processes and techniques. Not only are the carpets woven with traditional Persian hand-knotting, but the wool is still handspun and hand-dyed using only natural vegetable dyes. Only wool from Persian Fat-Tailed Sheep, which have been bred for centuries specifically for carpet making, is used, and the quality of wool results in a finished carpet that is not only exceedingly soft, but also naturally anti-microbial and stain-resistant.
Our carpets are made to last forever, which means you can enjoy your carpet without any concerns regarding its durability. Orley Shabahang has elevated carpets beyond floor coverings to truly functional art, and created the heirloom and antique rugs of the future.
