This hand knotted wool distressed antique Persian Malayer Gallery rug features a lively all-over floral lattice pattern composed of Mina Khani design and Guli Henna which is the Flower of Hinnai also known as Guli Hinnai; a central stem plant with star flowers on either side across an abrashed navy blue field. Each corner spandrel displays an eight-star trellis. It is enclosed with a floral meander border flanked with an inner and outer guard band.
