Persian Tafresh Rug

About the Item

Antique Persian Tafresh rug from the 1st quarter of the 20th century. Measures: 4'5'' x 6'2'' The single weft carpets are woven in Tafresh and its surrounding villages are of rather good quality. Instead of big carpets and runners, the weavers prefer to produce these types of rugs smaller in reds, dark blue, beige, green, and orange colors. The weave tends to be medium-fine to fine.
