Balancing a timeless floral design in bold colors with traditional sensibility and a lovingly timeworn patina, this hand knotted wool distressed antique Persian Sultanabad palace rug beautifully embodies English Chintz style. Taking center stage is a botanical medallion outlined in opulent frondescence. The central medallion is patterned with blooming palmettes, rosettes, leafy tendrils, and vinery anchored with floral pendants at either end. Gracing each corner spandrel is an elaborate design of florals and foliage echoing the medallion.
