Orley Shabahang "Taar" Contemporary Persian Rug, 9' x 12'
About the Item
This Orley Shabahang signature Persian carpet was created using handspun wool and organic vegetable dyes. The carpet is hand-knotted in our signature Cheshmeh weave, using wool from our own herd of Persian fat-tail sheep. Designed by our master weaver Bahram Shabahang, this piece, entitled "Taar," is a striking addition to our limited series Mosaic collection.
At Orley Shabahang we work village to village, house to house, with our weavers, setting the highest standard in carpet weaving today and working to preserve this ancient Craft for generations to come. This carpet measures 9'1" x 12'4" and is in excellent new condition. The signature of the artist is included.
