A hand-knotted vintage Persian rug. Pile and warp are made of 100% pure natural silk. The best-known silk is obtained from the cocoons of the larvae of the mulberry silkworm Bombyx Mori. It has a beautiful luster and shine. The pigments used to dye the silk are all natural. The condition of the rug is excellent for its age.
