About the Item

This hand knotted midcentury rug originates from the Konya region of Turkey circa 1950-1960, enjoying an atypical array of pink and red abrashed hues interceding the more Classic medallion patterns. Connoisseurs will note the versatile dimensions of this midcentury vintage Konya rug, a spacious 4’6 x 13’7 ideal for discerning stairway runner and hallway runner projects seeking the look of a distinctive unique transitional rug with a pleasing repetition and Classic tribal aesthetic.
