A very handsome example of Anatolian tribal weaving traditions, attributed to the Aydinli nomads of Western Turkey. Woven in two symmetrical halves, a typical technique for nomadic weavers who used narrow looms, this antique Kilims has a richly detailed design and saturated natural dyes. It is a collectible piece that is also sturdy for floor use.
