Checkerboard "Tulu" Rug

About

A very high quality example of the thick fleece-like rugs known as "Tulu", meaning long haired in Turkish. Woven for domestic use, to provide warmth and comfort for the family, they often feature simple geometric designs and very little color other than the natural tones of wool. This one displays a nice twist on the common chessboard theme. One of the best we have had recently with incredibly soft wool.
