Boho Chic meets the softer side of Modern Industrial style in this hand knotted wool vintage Turkish overdyed rug. The decorative detailing and bohemian color palette in this piece deliver a sophisticated chic aesthetic with romantic connotations. Centrally appointed is a prominent round center medallion anchored with palmette pendants and outlined with acanthus trim. Four blooming boteh motifs are capaciously dispersed into the richly striated field. Deep and elaborate spandrels emanate from the corners and extend along the side creating an inner frame. An ornate border with a faded floral pattern seamlessly amagamates into the lovingly time-worn composition. Softer yet no less striking, this vintage overdyed rug dances between the realms of feminine allure and the comforting earth-tone colors cultivating a warm and inviting haven. Rendered in variegated shades of pink, taupe, rose, greige, crepe pink, gray, tan, wine and slate gray with other analogous colors. This is a textured area rug with low to no pile. Distressed.
