The handmade carpet manufacturing of these masterpieces Turkish rugs began early the 20th century. The luxury rugs from Kayseri are known for their artistry with the pile of wool or silk. Those carpets and rugs are also often manufactured with high knot density and have varied patterns, borrowed from different areas. It is also familiar with oriental rug carpets produced entirely of silk, Silk-Ghom. Gardens, medallions or figural handmade rugs with plant and animal motifs are common. This Antique gold rug has a golden yellow border and an all-over animal and floral rug design. These natural rugs look beautiful and are ideal for living room rugs and bedroom rugs.
