Wide and large antique Oushak rug with floral design in variegated green and teal background and soft terracotta red border. Rug / HS-KB-200, wide Oushak antique wide Turkish decorative Oushak antique. Measures: 15"3 x 17"8 This magnificently large and unusually wide antique Oushak is a sheer delight to behold. Created in Turkey circa end of the 19th century, its beautiful palette of soft spring tones and floral design bring nature gently into one’s home. The central field of gray, green and various shades of blue serves as the perfect backdrop for the numerous floral motifs in tones of blues, reds, corals, gold and ivory that are sprinkled throughout. A superb border of delightful rose, terracotta red and salmon is filled with multiple designs of geometric flowers in various shades of ivory, green, cream and soft yellow.
