“Shepherd’s Tulu” (DK-124-66)

About the Item

An old rug from Central Turkey in the "tülü" tradition with soft and shaggy pile, woven entirely with hand-spun, un-dyed wool. This is a particularly good example of the type with good wool, great patina and real age - it was woven in two panels on a narrow loom, which is a rare feature for this type.
