Blue, Taupe and Tan Turkish Oushak rug, rug MSD-3382, country of origin / type: Turkey / Angora Oushak. Measures: 11'4'' x 13'1''. From our Oushak collection, this piece is made with a combination of hand spun wool and old wool. Featuring all organic materials, the Ushak collection is a modern-day remake of antique Turkish Oushak carpets from past centuries. This one of a kind collection rugs are hand-spun and made of fine wool with 100% plant-based dyes. They have healthy, low piles that have been mildly distressed to model the textures of their original, antique counterparts. This particular piece is a magnificent Oushak, and it boasts an all-over design in a large-scale style. The plentiful floral and bouquet motifs create an open design, which is surrounded by a border containing defined and geometric shapes.
