The abrashed field features a centre lozenge stepped medallion flanked with four large-scale cusped amulets anchored with trefoil pendants at either end. Stylized florals with romantic connotations adorn the amulets. The weaver's signature and date Sefa Geldiniz, 1975 combined with the strong gradations of abrash woven into the field authenticate this gorgeous vintage Kars rug creating inimitable warmth and nostalgic charm. It is enclosed with a Gendje stripe border flanked with an outer rose and meander guard band.
