Danish Wall Hanging Flat Weave from the Vibeke Klint School
About the Item
Rare Danish wall hanging flat weave from the Vibeke Klint school in the 1960s.
The flat weave is in good original condition and is ready to be mounted on the wall or used as a little decorative floor carpet.
Vibeke Klint was a danish weaver who had a big influence on the danish weaving industry and was a teacher for many important danish weavers like Inge Alifrangis, Kim Naver, Lene Helmer Nielsen and Anette Bendixen.
Vibeke Klint was also the daughter in law of Kaare Klint the grandfather of Danish design.
This flat weave is the perfect piece for any modern or more traditional interior and can fit well together with Art Deco or wabi sabi pieces.
The carpet has a very graphic expression which keeps it modern to this day today.
