Early 19th century French Aubusson rug with an unusual alternating Half drop pattern of octagonal medallions and abstract floral design within a rosette wreath. The Motifs are connected by a broken diamond pattern created with a floral vine. The field is various shades of rose. Accent colors include light blue, off white, grey, brown and peach.
