Flavia Testi and Stefano Rossi are the Portego's founders and artistic directors. They are responsible for the global vision of the project and its evolution, as well as the idea behind the production and the individual collections. With strong links to its home region, the Veneto, with its rich cultural, artistic and historic heritage, which requires protection and updating through the planning quality of high design and technological and digital knowledge, Portego selects the best local craft manufacturers and involves them in the production of high-design accessories and furnitures, which are contemporary yet express echoes of the past. Production which is at the same time exclusive and local, which does not conform to industrial product standardization, in order to follow new and different expressive visions and languages. Also the network of local and short distance suppliers - artisans, producers - allows Portego to guarantee the quality of the production chain of the collections and to customize to order.
