Portuguese Needlepoint Woven by Jacques Yesel Muiden

About the Item

Needlepoints are forms of counted threaded embroidery in which yarn is stitched through a stiff open weave canvas. This particular piece was woven by a famous Portugal carpetmaker named Jacques Yesel Muiden. He is infamous for weaving these back in the 1950s and 1960s. What makes this particular piece standout are the colors. Great for a summer/vacation home. 6' x 8'
