Drawing inspiration from Mario Buatta and Louis XVI , this hand-woven wool regal area rug beautifully highlights Chintz Design with French Aubusson and Savonnerie style. It features a creamy colored central roundel outlined in a persimmon band and floral wreath. A repeating floral motif of small six-petal flowers cover the field. Ornate floral and rose bouquets adorn each corner spandrel. The symmetrical placements of opulent frondescence enclosing the field further compliment its ornamentation. Characterized by predominate French influence with its ornate florals, the intricate borders of rinceaux, acanthus vines, and winding arrangements of garnished foliage enclose this captivating work of art.
