Axel Larsson chair model “1522” in birch and upholstery designed in 1936 and produced by Bodafors. Sweden, 30s.
This chair is in an excellent restored condition newly reupholstered.
Axel Larsson (1898-1975) was a Swedish interior designer working mostly for Svenska Möbelfabrikerna and Bodafors (SMF). Various of his designs were exhibited at the 1930 stockholm exhibition which got him many important commissions such as the park avenue hotel and the concert hall in Goteborg.
