19th Century French Louis XVI Reupholstered Carved Pair of Armchairs
About the Item
A stunning pair of Louis XVI Style, late 19th century painted, carved and reupholstered armchairs. Original cream coloured carved woodwork, original horse hair filling, hessian covering and newly reupholstered in a quality taupe colour fabric.
The dimensions are:
Height: 102cm (40.2in)
Width: 67cm (26.4in)
Depth: 55cm (21.7in)
This pair of French reupholstered armchairs are in good antique condition throughout with some signs of age. The seat and back have recently been professionally reupholstered and remain in good, clean condition. The antique carved armchairs remains structurally sound. Overall, a good example.
