About the Item
Amazing pair of German Art Deco style armchairs, manufactured in the 70s.
Characterized by the pursuit of both functionality and aesthetics, Art Deco furniture aspired to elegance and sophistication. Armchairs, like these, feature inward curves and rounded corners. It was common to combine materials of industrial origin with wood, leather or high quality fabrics, finding in this case a very high quality white leather together with the metal of the legs.
With a rounded profile, the double-layer draped padding stands out, and on the back, the union of the different pieces of fabric combining the straight line with the curve.They have a steel feet.
They are in a very good condition with age and use
It is a refined and timeless ensemble, Art Decó being one of the decorative styles that has endured the most over time and the public's taste.
They come from a private Dutch collection.
