This pair of armchairs came to us from a friend, descendant of a traditional familiy in Geneva, Switzerland. Her grandfather was a renowned doctor in the city. Geneva was a very honorable christian-calvinistic place that time. When the first brothel opened in the 1920ties, it became an immediate huge scandal. The cathouse had to close on the next morning. The doctor, father of our friend aquired some of the furniture, amongst them this lovely pair of armchairs. The armchairs are restored, stable, and ready to use. First made by the designer in Laredo, Texas studio in 1994, they are now made to order in Guadalajara, Mexico as signed editions. These chairs are made from natural Parota wood and finished with several coats of matte lacquer and protected with final waxing. The finish will withstand covered outdoor conditions, avoiding direct sunlight and water.
