Dutch Arts & Crafts or Jugendstil Inlaid Armchair by Onder den Sint Maarten

A wonderful simple yet elegant armchair with simply highlights mad by the Dutch company Onder den Sint Maarten. Leather has recently been professionally updated. Onder den Sint Maarten was a furniture manufacturer which was founded in 1900 in Zaltbommel, The Netherlands. In 1902 the company relocated to Haarlem, where it continued to produce not only furniture but also dinnerware, lamp fixtures and other design elements in the Dutch Arts & Crafts and Jugendstil style. Changing styles and cheaper products from other manufactures forced them to close their doors in 1936.
