English Mahogany Arm Chair With Upholstered Seat, 1820

About the Item

English Regency period ram’s horn arm chair on sabre legs. The chair back has a rectangular concave crest rail morticed between the upper leg posts and over a horizontal back rail. The construction is of solid mahogany with decorative brass string and tack inlays. The seat frame is fitted with an upholstered boxed slip seat. England, circa 1820.
