Ferdinand Lundquist & Co., Large and Rare Swedish Specimen Wood Armchair



Large, bold and comfortable, the incredibly rare armchair displays fine and rare wood specimens in a modern nod to the specimen marble table tops of the Italian Renaissance and Russian Constructivist Art. The concave toprail, above a conforming back, displaying a variety of specimen veneers including Capathian burl elm, Karelian birch, bird’s-eye maple, pear, chestnut, oak and elmwoods, the ebonized birch armrests, flanking a plush seat cushion, raised on specimen veneered front legs and quarter-round back legs, connected by stretchers. Labeled: A/B Ferd. Lundquist & Co. Göteborg An additional pair of armchairs of this model also available. Expertly restored and ready to add to your collection. Measures: Armrest height 27".
