Ib Kofod-Larsen, lounge chairs model U-56 'Elizabeth', oak, red leather, Denmark, designed in 1956 A pair of armchairs designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen in 1956. These are Kofod-Larsen highest-quality chairs, with an oak frame and patinated red leather. The leather holds authentic patina and is in exquisite condition with warm vibrant tones. The carved oak frame runs all the way from the front pointy front via the legs to the rear. This model was purchased by Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip during their visit to Copenhagen in 1958, and the design is therefore called the “Elizabeth Chair.”   Please note that these items are in good, used condition. The price listed is per chair.
