The lost space armchair takes place in the third act of THESHAW's Future Vestige series. It is the climax of the movie, a moment for which you are so engaged you cannot bear to look away. The form of this armchair breaks the usual conventions of homeware with its rigid, cold, cocoon-like bodice. Like a living body passing through it from the future, the backrest extends in an arc towards the rear, as if wings would spread out of it at any moment.
