About the Item

Jugendstil vintage rattan armchairs, which were designed by Hans Vollmer, 1902-1903, Vienna and executed by Prag - Rudniker Korbwaren Fabrication. This set of 2 luxurious Jugendstil rattan armchairs are reupholstered and covered with a high-quality blue textile fabric with blue braids. The cushions are loose, the back is fixed. While the shape of the armchairs shows a beautiful movement, the handcrafted rattan work shows the high quality work from these armchairs. Prag-Rudniker Korbwaren Fabrication decided during the turn to the 20th century to executed the work from important artists. This new direction facilitates a completely evaluation from their furnitures - it went from an article of the daily use to a work of art. These design pieces from the Jugendstil period are in very good condition.
