About the Item
Early 20th century Louis XVI style carved giltwood armchair with round tapered legs. This oval back Fauteuil features beautifully carved acanthus leaf appointments and is newly reupholstered in a Lee Jofa beige/gold and black Oblique modern diagonal stripe velvet fabric by Kelly Wearstler. Provenance: Owlwood estate. Holmby Hills, California.
Material: 73% viscose, 27% cotton.
Trim cording: Italian black velvet.
