Mahogany English Regency Armchair, circa 1810

About

This armchair has beautifully curved reeded arms that gracefully integrate the rear reeded stiles with the front legs. The crest is embellished with highly figured mahogany around a satinwood border with line inlay surrounded by reeding at its edge. The back supports are similarly reeded this chair is finely crafted, and quite heavy testifying to its excellent wood quality. Measures: Height 32, seat height 17 1/2 in, width 20 3/4 in, depth 21 1/2 in.
