About the Item
Extremely rare chairs designed by Czech architect Radomir Hofman for EXPO exhibition in Montreal in 1967. Produced by Thonet successor Ton company in limited edition only. Catalogue Nr. 615. Chairs are in excellent original conditions with only new upholstery. This model was awarded the prize of “Best furniture design” in 1967. Among others, it was selected for the offices in the Czechoslovakian pavilion at Expo 1967 in Montreal and for the restaurant in the Czechoslovakian pavilion at Expo in Osaka, 1970.
