About the Item

Being the first woman to run a major production company and that wasn’t afraid to take risks, Lucille Ball was once called a “waste of time” at the dramatic school. After thriving immensely, she became a singer, model and movie star mostly known for the iconic TV show “I Love Lucy”. Ottiu took this woman as an inspiration and designed a piece that reflects her character: The Lucy Armchair. Upholstered in cotton velvet with a seductive flair fabric on its back, this chair’s structure is made of beechwood and features legs upholstered in velvet with feet in polished brass. It evokes a daring essence that will bring a dramatic touch to any contemporary living room.
